Sharing to a Mersive Device

By default, web sharing, AirPlay, Miracast, Google Cast, and HDMI-in are enabled, depending on your device type.

When casting using AirPlay, Miracast, or Google Cast, note that Digital Rights Management (DRM) content from applications or websites such as streaming (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) is not fully supported, and your results may vary.

Device Type

Smart

Pro

Casting Configuration
  • Admins can disable AirPlay, Miracast, and Google Cast via the management portal.

  • To share with AirPlay, Miracast, or Google Cast, the user must be on the same network as the Mersive device.

  • When disabled, the share options will be removed from the idle screen.

  • Admins can also disable the requirement for a screen key to cast via AirPlay and Miracast. Google Cast does not use a screen key for sharing.

HDMI-In

Admins can choose to show or hide HDMI-in as a sharing type on the display, but the HDMI-in port is always enabled as long as the Mersive device has an active plan.
