Sharing Content by Protocol
Web Instructions
On a laptop, browse to Mersive Connect | Interactive Content Sharing Platform.
Enter the screen key from the Mersive display and then click "Connect."
Click "Share Screen" and select the screen, window, or browser tab you'd like to share to the display. Your shared content should now be visible.
Note
You can share multiple pieces of content by clicking "Add Share."
AirPlay
Mac Laptop or Desktop
Click the Screen Mirroring icon from the control center on the top right of your screen.
Select the name of the Mersive device.
If asked, enter the screen key shown on the display. Your screen should now be mirrored to the Mersive device.
iPhone or iPad
Swipe down from the top right of the screen to access the control center.
Select the screen mirroring icon, and select the name of the Mersive device.
If asked, enter the screen key shown on the display. Your screen should now be mirrored to the Mersive device.
Note
When using an app that supports screen rotation, you can rotate your iPhone or iPad and see this reflected on the Mersive display.
Android
The suggested Android casting process for MCS is to utilize the Mersive Connect app, available free of charge on the Android Play Store.
Note
Using alternative Android connection methods for Mersive devices may not always yield consistent results or be available across all Android device makes/models.
Miracast
Windows laptop
Press Ctrl + K on your keyboard to open the casting window.
Select the name of the Mersive device. If asked, enter the screen key shown on the display device.
Your screen should now be mirrored to the Mersive device.
Google Cast
Chrome Browser
Click the "more" (3 dots icon) on the top right of your browser window.
Select "Cast, Save, and Share..." from the menu.
Select "Cast..."
Select the name of the Mersive device (Google Cast does not use screen keys). Your browser tab should now be mirrored to the Mersive device.
HDMI
From Your Computer
Note
Both your computer and the Mersive device may flash a black screen while setting up the HDMI In connection.
Plug one end of an HDMI cable (not supplied) into the HDMI-in port on your Mersive Pro device.
Plug the other end into your computer. Depending on your system settings, your computer's screen will now be mirrored or extended to the Mersive device.
Audio settings:
By default, Windows automatically switches audio out to the speakers connected to the pod.
